What is offset printing?
Offset printing is an indirect process where the image is transferred from a metal plate to a rubber blanket, and from there onto the paper. This process ensures accurate reproduction of colors and detail, resulting in prints with exceptional sharpness, depth and consistency.
It is the industry standard for large runs thanks to its excellent cost-to-quality ratio above a certain volume. At Impresora Rosas we operate high-capacity offset machinery in both Monterrey and Tampico.
Advantages of offset
- Superior image reproduction with fine detail and smooth gradients.
- Absolute consistency from the first to the last print in the run.
- Accurate color reproduction, including special Pantone inks.
- Cost-efficient from 1,000 pieces; the larger the run, the lower the cost per piece.
- Compatible with a wide variety of substrates: coated paper, bond, cardstock, board, and more.
- Professional finishes: UV varnish, lamination, die-cutting, embossing, foil.
Offset or digital? We'll guide you
Our team reviews your project and recommends the right technology. As a general rule: offset is worth it from 1,000 pieces and up, where the cost per piece drops significantly and color quality is unbeatable. For smaller runs, digital is usually the better option.
